(( I actually try to keep the ape speak to a minimum - especially in historical RPs LOL. It get's confusing and i've found Swede's speak with perfect clarity, not to mention I find the Swedish language almost lyrical and certainly not guttural in nature but that's just me. ))

"Benvenuto Svezia!~" The small Italian greeted as he embraced the taller man. Although they didn't have many relations Italy had nothing agaisnt the Swede except for the fact that at times he could be extremely scary. "How have you been?"

"Pryvitannie," Natalia greeted the tall man, looking up at him with a steady gaze. She knew the ancestors of her people could trace their heritage to ancient vikings from Sweden, but also remembered when the nation had repeatedly attacked in the 17th century, killing half of the population of the Commonwealth and tried to eradicate the church in her land. Today he seemed to have the singular purpose of making everyone own a set of L wrenches. "How have you been lately? Enjoying the end of summer?"

@Italy: Berwald freezes, feeling slightly awkward in the Italians embrace. Italy's overly cheerful demeanor had always puzzled him, but the nation had always been a popular tourists destination for his people, so he couldn't be that bad. "Good," he replied curtly.

@Belarus: Always respecting a female who didn't seem to be terrified of his looks, he nodded in her direction. "I've been copin', and you?"

Latvia stared up at the much larger nation. Sweden was one of his former masters, the one he considered to have brought about his golden age. In the modern day Sweden was one of the major contributers to his bail out. Some of Latvia's people had even spoken of being under Sweden again to escape further national debt. Looking at someone who had influenced your life so much and continued to be a major factor.. it was a bit unsettling. Especially when you added the fact that Sealand considered himself Sweden's and while Latvia could only be so close to Sealand, Raivis was very close to Peter. "A-ah.. Sv-sveiki Mr. Sweden."

Fjords. Cold weather. Ice. Snow. These were all things that Antonio often associated with Sweden, though some of his other friends have associated other things with this place. However much he found it hard to visit this place and stay in a place much cooler than his own home, the past diplomatic relationship his masters have had with the Swedes told him that it would be a good idea to pay him a visit.

He had only heard rumors of the diplomacy (he had been a busy man during that time), but the man could not be that bad, no?

As he strolled up to the larger nation, he showed him his best smile. "Hola~" he chirped, holding a hand out, "I'm España!"

Having associated for some time with Russia, Dae-Hyun had become decently familiar with Sweden by reputation and word-of-mouth; however, more recent tensions had arisen due to Sweden seeming to be nothing more than America's puppet and had even declared the Scandinavian nation an enemy. Still, he felt it in his best interests to at least be civil while in his presence, already having enough stress on his back.

"...annyeonghaseyo," he said quietly, bowing slightly. Righting himself, he tensed, not really wanting to say more than that.

"Dia dhuit!" Ian greeted the tall blond cheerfully, walking up to him and offering his hand. "Nice day for it!" He added. The nation reminded him of the vikings who had come to Ireland and set up towns on his eastern and southern shores ... Dublin, Wexford, Waterford, Cork, Wicklow, Limerick ... they always stole the best stuff from the monasteries in his country, and then the Irish stole it all back from the vikings. Nothing quite so profitable as raiding a viking raid. But Sweden wasn't the bloke, that was the Norwegians and Danish he had done that to.
